Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor best famous for the fantasy television show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. A dancer and model by trade Toubia also has achieved great success in both of these fields. Her birthplace was in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. She's always enjoyed performing. She has been trained since her the age of three in many various forms. She began participating in beauty contests when she was the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. In 2010 she played the receptionist for Telemundo telenovela Aurora. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action movie. Toubia is nominated twice to win Teen Choice Awards as the most outstanding TV actor Fantasy/Sci-Fi for her performance in Shadowhunters.
