Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh was born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. The actress was honoured with an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 because of her performance as actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began at the beginning of 2000. She had her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her first Malayalam projects as well as began working in Tamil simultaneously. In 2015 she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. However, the films did not do well in cinemas. To make room for larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. As a result, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The release of the film was delayed in 2015 and is now expected to be after September 2020. It will have an alternative title, Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. In 2017, Keerthy also appeared on screen in Tamil film PaambhuSattai as well Telugu film Nenu Local.
